The Herald

Event information:

Type: Circus, Dance, Theatre

Friday: 9pm & Saturday: 10pm

Duration: approx. 40 mins

Rooted in the atmosphere of the 1920’s prohibition era this reimagining of the classic tale is set to the sounds of Charleston, Lindy Hop and big band music.

Told through the intense physical style that Bad Taste Company have become renowned for, Cutty Sark Gardens will be transformed into a speakeasy with a cast of gangsters, bootleggers, gamblers, flappers and hep cats.

World-class hip-hop dance and authentic period styling will fuse with flaming cocktails, burning boxing rings and a literally explosive set to encapsulate the zest and exuberance of the roaring ’20s.
