Duration: Approx 45 mins

Sense of Unity brings the illuminated large-scale German puppet Dundu together with the UK’s LED-lit, high-energy, percussion ensemble Worldbeaters for the first time. As dusk falls, follow the band as they parade through Roman Road and discover both baby Dundu and the gentle giant Dundu. Will they find each other? Will they get on?

Enjoy the different musical worlds: from the West African Kora of Dundu, to the world inspired drumming riffs and rhythms of Worldbeaters in this moving and spirited processional event.

Both companies have enthralled and entertained audiences worldwide and this is the first opportunity to see them perform together in London.

Security advice

We are looking forward to welcoming you to Roman Road for a performance to remember. We are working with SFM Security and the Tower Hamlets Police to ensure that our events are as safe and enjoyable as possible. We would like to offer you the following advice:

1. We have Security and Stewards throughout the site and parade route wearing high visibility vests. Please feel free to approach them to report anything may be making you feel uncomfortable or is suspicious. The team have specialist training and are in radio contact with the other security and stewards. They can contact emergency services if required.

2. Please keep your valuables (including mobile phones) safe. Pickpockets can operate in large crowds.

3. If you’re attending with a group – stick together. Should one of your group become separated – please contact a steward or security team member who will be able to help you.

4. If you’re attending with a child – write your telephone number on their arm or on a wristband
