Bradley Hemmings is the Artistic Director of Greenwich+Docklands International Festival, one of the UK’s leading outdoor arts festivals. He is also a founding member of the national Without Walls street arts consortium, was Co-Artistic Director for the Opening Ceremony of London 2012 Paralympic Games and was recently appointed to the London Area Council of Arts Council England.

Under Bradley’s direction GDIF has evolved into a much loved annual event, profiling a range of outdoor artists and attracting audiences of more than 100,000 each year.

His appointment as the Co-Artistic Director of the Opening Ceremony of the London 2012 Paralympic Games grew out of his longstanding work with disabled artists, including the Mayor of London’s annual Liberty festival, combined with his active role in championing outdoor theatre and large scale spectacle.
